Tea Time Photo Shoot

Nicole and I had a  chance to do a great photo shoot inspired by a garden tea theme. We have been planning a Tea Time photo shoot for some time now and finally got to put all our items and ideas together with some great vendors. And we had a lot of fun to!

We really wanted to thank all our wonderful amazing vendors that we have been so blessed to work with and honor them with this blog.

Thank you and here's to Tea!!!
A Cherry Kissed Events Original
First, we decided to use purples, golds, pinks, and greens as the main colors for the day.

Next, we decided what items we really wanted to include in our shoot. Such as using our DIY frames that we had worked on, bunting, a cute cake, and fun details like a pop of color on each plate by using a  pear.

Last, we paired up with some great vendors so that the day would go smooth and look great.

Please enjoy our photos below and check our our awesome vendors. We also want to thank our friend, Gina, for letting us use her great backyard.
--------------------------------

We used our favorite florist, Bonnie, from Florals by Flory in Roseville, Ca.
She did a great job using bright wildflowers and incorporating them with the DIY tea tins and the DIY laced wine bottles that we made.

We used our sweet friend, Tamsin, from the Sweet Bambino in Roseville. Tamsin makes great baby clothes and other fun items and she made us the cutest bunting. The bunting was made with burlap and felt and she added some cute flowers as a fun detail.

We met with Sweet Cakes by Rebecca in Citrus Heights and showed them the type of cake we wanted and they did an awesome job making us exactly what we wanted, and it tasted great too! We highly recommend them!

We had the chance to use our dear friend, Marci's, new business, Sacramento Vintage Crockery Rentals. She had some unique and original tea time items that really made our shoot look awesome.  You need to check out her amazing selection.

Fiesta Night on October 21st - the Help the Children's Tumor Foundation

We need your help!
The Children’s Tumor Foundation is a non-profit that works tirelessly to find a cure for Neurofibromatosis (NF). Our dear friend, Andrew Lowell, is a local father with a heartbreaking story about his daughter, 3 year old Eva, and her battle with a debilitating spinal tumor.  We want you to partner with him and his family to help better the lives of children battling with tumors all over the nation. Please read Andrew’s story below and let us know if you would like to participate in a Fiesta Night Oct 21st, 2011 for a NF Endurance race that he is participating in December 4, 2011 to raise funds for this cause.
Andrew’s Story: My daughter Ava was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF) at 6 months of age. After her first MRI it was discovered she has a tumor in her spine. NF causes tumors to grow along nerves, nerve sheaths, and non-nervous tissue such as bones and skin, anywhere in the body. These tumors can choke off organs and blood supplies. About one-half of the people with NF have learning disabilities. If the tumor my daughter has in her spine grows any larger, she will lose motor development and/or skills and may suffer from any number of complications. There is no treatment or cure for her. Ava has to have MRI’s every three months to monitor the growth of her tumor. She is only 3 years old.  We do this not only to find a cure and/or treatment for her but for all of the other children we have met through this organization with this disorder. Because of the Children’s Tumor Foundation Ava can look forward to the future. For Ava, I would run to the end of the world if it meant a cure.
We are looking for sponsors and donations to help raise money and awareness for this great cause.  All donations are tax deductable and all businesses that donate will have their logo placed on all methods of advertising and signage. We are hosting a Fiesta Night on October 21st , 2011 at 6:30 pm located at Connect Reality Office, 1693 Eureka Rd #100, Roseville, CA 95661.  A social hour, dinner, and auction will take place to raise funds for the race. Mark S. Allen from Good Morning Sacramento will be our auctioneer and we are hoping for a great turn out.
Tickets are $25 a piece.  If you would like to be a sponsor, donate items, run with Andrew at the race in December, or buy tickets to the Fiesta night please contact:
